New Year Resolutions
01.11.2010 | Michael Kasberg
Happy New Year, everyone. This is the time of year many of you make resolutions to correct issues that have plagued you over the last 365 days. I've never done that, but I feel like this would be a good time to start.
First off, I want to admit to some rough patches during 2009. I know there were issues with the track, with trophies, and with the parking lot. I'm not going to make excuses and I'm not going to pass the blame. With that being said, I accumulated mountains of information during my first year of owning my own track.
Now, I've made a few resolutions for 2010 that I believe will result in an even better year for 211 Motocross:
- I resolve to change the layout of the track as much as financially possible. I understand the obstacles may be a bit stale to some, and I will do my best to keep things interesting. I've got some great volunteers and I hope we can keep things fresh.
- I resolve to do all in my power to kill the stickers. I'm researching the best methods to make this happen. Trust me, I want them gone more than you do.
- I resolve to order trophies six weeks in advance and make sure they are sitting in the Trophy Hut two weeks before the event. Enough said.
- I resolve to mark the parking lot in order to accomodate the crowd, especially at the Sunbelt round.
- I resolve to continue to provide one of the best staffs around.
- I resolve to continue to improve track prep.
As you all know, I'm open to constructive criticism and look forward to talking to you about any issue you may have in order to resolve the problem. Two eyes are better than one. 200 eyes are better than that. Help me help you.
Contact me any time - I'm here for you guys.
